Cel mai nou album al lui Mary J. Blige se va numi Stronger si va fi lansat in Statele Unite pe 24 noiembrie. "Albumul reprezinta cine si cum sunt eu in prezent. Este ceea ce am devenit eu", a declarat Mary J. Blige despre noul sau material.
Primul single de pe album se numeste The One si a putut fi ascultat la toate radiourile din SUA inca din luna iunie. Pentru acest cantec, Mary J. Blige a colaborat cu Drake.

Cel de-al doilea single va da si numele noului album al cantaretei. Melodia a aparut si pe coloana sonora a documentarului despre jucatorul de baschet LeBron James, "More Than a Game".
